Nottingham Triathlon 2019

Britain claimed their victory in the World Triathlon mixed relay this weekend in Nottingham, after the event was changed to a duathlon due to heavy rainfall during the week.

Great Britain’s team, consisting of Georgia Taylor-Brown, Ben Dijkstara, Sophie Coldwell and Alex Yee, came top at the event ahead of Switzerland in second and France in 3rd.

The event is coming to the Olympics for the first time next year in Tokyo, after it was first set up last year, in which Britain came second to the United States.
